A few things I’d like to do today.
First, I’d like to make some of my proudest days in this blog more accessible, so I’ll go back and permalink them to the homepage. And I’ll also categorize my thoughtful entries so they can be seen all in one batch.
Second, I realize I was much more motivated to work here when I was working on my Zelda clone because I had a clear path and end goal. Let’s set one for pixel art.
My first goalpost is finish this set of tutorials by Davit Masia. The next is draw 10 tutorial pieces. And then, draw similar ones freehand.
Let’s draw, baby.

#2: Finished the 2nd tutorial. Shapes are starting to make sense. Color is completely foreign to me.
